The American Foundation for Saint George Hospital, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization incorporated in 1999 under the District of Columbia Non-Profit Corporation Act. It is directed by American citizens who share a common interest in supporting Saint George Hospital’s aim of providing the highest quality medical services to the communities of Beirut, Lebanon and the region, and making health care available for the needy. While patient care is at the core of its mission, the Foundation also supports education, research and post-graduate training of physicians and health care professionals.

As a 501(c)(3) organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code, The American Foundation for Saint George Hospital, Inc.  is a non-political humanitarian association. It does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race or gender, and seeks to unite people who are committed to supporting Saint George Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon.
